Highlights from SOLIDWORKS World 2019

ATR Soft has been part of the SOLIDWORKS World since 2002 and this year was no exception. As every year many big news were announced during the event. The main one was the change in the SOLIDWORKS brand which will be replaced by the The will combine a set of different products used for manufacturing (Delmia), simulation (Simulia), designing (SOLIDWORKS) and planning (Enovia). The change is coming everywhere and that transformation is already taking place. Another big announcement was that the SOLIDWORKS World 2019 was the last one as this event will be replaced next year by the 3DEXPERIENCE World and will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, February 9-12.

As mentioned earlier this was our 17th SOLIDWORKS World, and when I look into the past and my first SOLIDWORKS World in 2009, then I can see that a lot has happened since.

On the way to Dallas, we lost one of our crew member, as Tim was sick and not able to make it unfortunately. Then one of our luggage, carrying half of our stand, got lost and we had to improvised but after all it turned out that we were able to build something with what we had.

This event has always been a great opportunity to meet with the SOLIDWORKS community and show them what we have been doing since the last SOLIDWORKS World. SOLIDWORKS World is a small world on its own where we can meet our partners, customers, SOLIDWORKS user group members, and old friends.

We also ran a presentation at the Partner Pavilion where we presented how the DXF creation can be automated by using CUSTOMTOOLS.

Once again we would like to thank you all who took the time to visit and talk to us. We hope that our solutions inspired you and we hope to see all next year in Nashville for the next 3DEXPERIENCE World.
